I have been informed by one of my co-workers from Village Realty that the flower in the picture is a Bottle Brush and that is exactly what it looks like. Thanks again, Leslie!

The flower looks like it's from a tiny bottlebrush plant. Scroll down to see the fourth picture on the wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callistemon

Are kids welcome at the Fireman's Ball? Thanks for the info.

I am sure kids are welcome to the ball but I would think that when it starts getting later in the evening it wouldn't be the best place for smaller children to be hanging out.
Plus...for anyone who is reading this and plans to take children to any event such as this...please keep an eye on them and know where they are.
Remember: Safety first for everyone!
